She was nine years old when she sent her first note to 'befriend' an older girl who sang with her in the choir.
Six years later, while she busied herself with college applications, she overheard what "her kind" is called-- 'lesbian', 'tomboy' etc.
In college, she learned to smoke cigarettes to keep herself from admitting or crying.
But she is what she is.
And she's thankful for her friends. And she's praying for her family and the society she lives in.
This blog is just a part of what feels she needs to keep
from them, for now, at least.
